Meet Gosford’s member, Collin and his trainer, Mitch!
What made you decide to start personal training?
After arriving home from a South Pacific cruise weighing in at a hefty 122.5kg (my heaviest ever) I decided it was time to do something. So, I started seeing a dietitian and a personal trainer.
What are your biggest highlights/achievements of the year so far?
Mitch has helped me to lose 20kg. Although it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, it certainly wasn’t easy either! It’s been a bit of an up and down battle but I want to keep the weight off and continue to improve my fitness.
Do you have a current goal that you’re working towards?
My goal at the moment is to reach 100kg and maybe set a target for 95kg afterwards.

Collin has a great attitude towards his training, he’s always looking to better himself in every session. We aim to improve our fitness testing goals in our sessions as well as weight training. I believe that focusing on strength and fitness can help people stay on track during their weight loss journey.
