Meet Belmont’s latest More Than a Number, Steven!

Status
Single and available! LOL – unemployed due to health issues.

Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
I have always been active, but since my nervous break down in late 2012 my health has declined, I put on weight and had no motivation.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
I really had no goal at first. Going to the gym was advised as part of my therapy, but now my goal is to keep going.

Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
Yes, my goal was to get fitter and to broaden my world from the small place it had become, to which both has happened.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I had no perception of gyms, since joining Planet Fitness I am enjoying the experience. The staff make the gym experience much better.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
To lose the little bit of padding (fat) that I still have on my torso.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Biggest obstacles are myself, anxiety attacks and motivating myself to keep getting better physically and mentally.

Do you have sources if inspiration? If so, what are they?
I am my source of inspiration, to get better and become a functioning person in society again.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
Monday to Sunday – I alternate workout programs composed by Jack Everett (PT) with 45 – 60 minutes cardio / fat burning after weights programs spending roughly 2 hours per day working out.
