Yes, netball, running and pole dancing.
Did you have a goal when you first joined?
Yes, I wanted to lose weight and become my healthiest and fittest self.
Have you reached a goal or have you achieved what you originally set
out to do?
Yes, I’ve lost 15kg since joining almost 2 years ago. I never expected that I would be able to do half the things I can do today and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I was nervous to join a gym, but everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. Especially when you’re seeing the same people every day, it’s like a second home.
What are your fitness goals for the future?
Run a marathon and compete in Australian Ninja Warrior.
Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Shin splints and stress fractures.
Do you have sources if inspiration? If so, what are they?
My best friend Kristy was the one who convinced me to join Planet Fitness with her, she inspires me every day. Also, seeing the changes in my body and fitness levels motivates me to keep pushing myself even further.
What is your weekly fitness regime?
Sunday: Legs + Abs
