Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise? If yes, what have you done previously?
I’ve attended the gym on and off.
Did you have a goal when you first joined?
Yes, to get my fitness back and lose the weight I gained during pregnancy.
Have you reached a goal or have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
Yes, I’ve gone above and beyond my original goal but strive to run longer and lift heavier each visit, and just be better than I used to be.
What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I was a member of a gym previously, but I love the crèche and other mums I’ve met through Planet Fitness.
What are your fitness goals for the future?
To maintain what I have achieved and continue to challenge myself.
Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Scheduling in workouts around work and raising a two year old.
What is your weekly fitness regime?
Monday – Pump or 30min Cardio + 30min weights + Abs
Tuesday – Rest
Wednesday – 30min Cardio + 30min weights + Abs
Thursday – 30min Cardio + 30min weights + Abs
Friday – Rest
Saturday – Walking with family or dog
Sunday – Walking with family or dog
What is your favourite quote?
No one ever works out and regrets it. You never go for a run and then when you’re finished wish you had just stayed home. You never climb a mountain to get to the top and say “I should have just been content to stay where I was”.
