J: Not yet but I’m well on my way.
L: Yes and no. My goals are always changing and I keep going on extended holidays and then starting from scratch.
What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
J: My perception has definitely changed, it’s a community and I love that John keeps us all going.
L: Gyms always seemed intimidating and a little scary. Planet is so welcoming, the staff are awesome and it’s got a great community vibe. We train hard but have fun.

J: The ups and downs of fitness, it’s not all ups.
L: Food. Bad choices. Accountability with food. Cake. Chocolate. Having a YOLO attitude with food.
Do you have sources of inspiration? If so what are they?
J: My husband and Lacey, she pushes me to do better and work harder.
L: I’m pretty good at motivating myself, but I’ve got my best friend/ gym buddy Jayde to kick my arse when needed.
What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
J: Do it, you won’t look back.
L: Do it. You’ve got nothing to lose and lots to gain.
What is your weekly fitness regime?
J: I do 1 hour workouts 6 days a week plus team sports three nights a week.
L: A mix of cardio and weight training 5-6 times a week. Love a good HIIT, Spin, or Body Pump class.
