Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
Yes, I have always been interested in physical fitness and sport growing up. I played soccer for many years before the gym became my primary focus.
Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
I did not have any goals when I first started, but later on have gained goals and achieved some.
Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
After realising that my personal fitness was a priority I became serious about training/dieting. The goal was to put on 10kg in the first year, I’m 8 months in and I have nearly gained 20kg.
What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I had never been to a gym before, had no perceptions of what it was like.
What are your fitness goals for the future?
To maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Finding enough time to train as often as I have to reach my goals and also implicating a specific diet.
Do you have sources of inspiration? If so what are they?
My inspirations come from anyone who has dedicated a large amount of time working on their physique.
What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
Sign up, give it a crack. Seeing results becomes addictive.
What is your weekly fitness regime?
My weekly regime is to train every muscle group twice a week.
