Berry & Oat Breakfast Tart
We love breakfast and we LOVE tarts so what’s not to love about a breakfast tart?! We show you how to make a super healthy, wholesome and filling breakfast that packs a fibre, protein and antioxidant punch. Here’s how to make these for yourself…
Makes 2 x 15cm tartss
You will need:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almond meal
2 tablespoons macadamias
2 tablespoons Walnuts
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
1 egg
What to do:
Preheat oven 165C
Line two mini tart tins
Blend oats to meal.
Process oats with all remaining ingredients until smooth
Spoon into tart tins and press into sides to 1 cm thickness.
Bake 15-20 mins until golden
1 cup strawberries, quartered
1 punnet blueberries
250 grams natural yoghurt
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste to drizzle
Fill tarts with yogurt and berries and drizzle with vanilla and honey!
